Mark Lumsden was born and raised in the UK and spent much of his adult life working in leadership and management roles in the UK and overseas. Settling initially in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and then relocating to Perth in Western Australia, Mark worked in the resources industry as a logistics manager. He studied for the post-graduate certificate in Migration Law and Practice at Murdoch University, set up his own Company and registered as a Migration Agent.
Under the Code my obligations relate to:
My interactions with all clients
My fees and charges, record keeping and financial management
My responsibilities toward other migration agents
Any employees I employ
The requirement to respond to the MARA if a complaint is made against my Company
An obligation to prominently display the Code in my office and client waiting area
Provide clients with a copy of the Code to keep if they ask for one
